Primary Muscles Worked




  1. Set weight as per program (If you haven’t received a program start lighter then progress to a heavier weight)

  2. Adjust the seat so there is a right angle at your knee and hips



  1. To begin the exercise, stand up to grab the bar then sit down, this takes pressure off your elbows

  2. Bring the bar up on a count of 2 and down on a count of 3

  3. Exhale coming up and inhale going down

  4. Avoid locking out your elbows in extension
